I decided to do that again. I’ll give it one more try even if it is never the same. And I started to forget some of the things. All that seems away from me… How come after less than a month apart from a place like that I feel like I’ve never been there, I feel like I haven’t taken advantage of that place, like I haven’t inhaled that brise completely, like I just didn’t enjoy it to the fullest…? I feel it so far away and so never before…
However, that was an extraordinary adventure. First of the latest. And I enjoyed it, I really did. I wish I could remember everything exactly as it happened… But I…
What I really liked was the Monaco part, even if Monaco is Monaco as a whole, it is seen as Monaco and Monte-Carlo (the non Monaco part ). Monte Carlo is not really my cup of tea, but I really loved Monaco, the wonderful garden with the marvelous vegetation, with the hundreds of types of cactuses and the Mediterranean flowers, each of which I feasted my eyes upon, and my favorite – above all - the Callistemon or informally the Bottlebrush. In fact, I am not being totally honest, I really liked the Japanese garden in the Monte Carlo part. 1. because it reminds me of Toulouse and 2. because it is an oasis of peace and quiet, although it didn’t quite work like that the day I was visiting as the Formula 1 drivers were testing their bolides. You can’t even imagine the noise and the smell….
Anyway this small place – 2km square – is not that small as I imagined it to be and it holds on the left side of the country a wonderful museum, the Royal Palace, the renowned stadium and the already mentioned garden. I wouldn’t waste the chance of talking about the museum Prince Albert I has founded, full of wonders of the world underneath the sea and on land… Because it was a great experience to stroll next to dolphins, sharks, giant turtles, seahorses, skates, octopuses, squids, turbo fish – which are my favourites….etc. What I also liked was (everytime I was in a place crowded with tourists) try to guess what language they were speaking. I simply love doing this, although I don’t guess it everytime. Especially with the northern European countries… I know mom would have been good at it.
Is not getting as funny as it was the first time… The writing part… I’ll leave it for moodier times.
